Easter Celebrations

In Robert's family the tradition is to do all Easter Egg hunts/Easter baskets the day before Easter. We've decided we would like to continue that tradition and reserve Sunday for Church celebrations and family dinner.  Christian has never done an Easter Egg hunt, so we thought he would enjoy it.  Even though it is the end of April, it was too cold to do anything outside in the morning.  If you can believe it, it has been snowing every few days!  Boo.

Back to Easter...Christian has never had an Easter Egg hunt, so it took him a while to get the concept.  Especially when he discovered there was candy inside the first egg.  He just wanted to eat the candy instead of searching for more eggs.
He found his first egg!
Seeing what's inside.  Don't mind the deranged look on my face.  I was trying to get him excited to show Daddy what was in the egg, instead of just eating the candy. :)
Robert did a good job of "hiding" the eggs in obvious places.  Christian still needed a little direction.
The loot!

We obviously did not hide Hyrum's basket, but we did hide Christian's.  Even when we told him to look in the closet he couldn't find it.  Maybe next year he'll get the concept.

That morning we had a nice brunch and tried to keep Christian from eating too much chocolate.  It was a hard task.

Easter day we went to Church.  Hooray!
